Hola!!
We’re full on getting la casita (aka the @stitchhouse915) ready for all of you!!

We hope that it becomes a safe space for your to play and create with textile arts with the workshops led by Lizbeth from @cushicushi915 and Sandra from @vibras_bonitas_915

We’re also putting a lot of love to become your favorite cozy little shop, where you can find different sewing notions, embroidery materials and fabric options that you won’t find anywhere else in EP.

And we are now offering Nurge brand embroidery hoops in different sizes for sale!🙌
Nurge is a brand of superior quality embroidery hoops, made from hard beech wood, fine sanded and hand polished for a super smooth natural wood finish in Turkey.

Also, when you get to visit us you’ll be able to appreciate our really cool art collection displayed throughout the shop, like these amazing pieces from our friends @ivancalderonart and @christin.m.a
**Note: these pieces are from our personal collection and they are not for sale, but we can definitely help you contact the artists if you’re interested in purchasing art from any of them. We’re super committed to supporting our local artists❤️

So stay tuned for our opening in early February or sign up for any of our January classes and get a sneak peek of our new space.

The goal, is to make it so cozy that you won’t want to leave it whenever you visit 😉

Asi que aquí nos wachamos!!

Meet Lizbeth Sanchez Pineda!!
She’s a self taught hand embroiderer and the owner of @cushicushi915, a project that started in 2018 as an outlet to document her creative adventures on social media with needle arts. In 2025, this creative outlet has now grown to become its own brick and mortar shop/studio in central EP.

In 2021, she started attending local art markets, then designing and creating DIY kits and embroidery patterns. After that, she started exhibiting her work at local galleries and won the Joann Craft Stores Minority Program Grant.

In 2022, she started teaching classes and workshops at different restaurants and coffee shops as well as with the El Paso Museum of Art, the Mexican American Cultural Center, the Las Cruces Museum of Art and at the SISD Teaching Development Conference in 2023.

Her main inspirations are traditional Mexican embroidery, our desert landscapes and the iconic frontera culture she has always lived with: “Soy de aquí y soy de allá”.

Lizbeth is always encouraging everyone to embrace art as a true form of selfcare and as a tool to exercise their creativity by making it part of their everyday lives.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juarez and a Master’s in Education from Tecnologico de Monterrey.
